On Tuesday, 4 November 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, Užliedžių village, on Plento street, at the junction with Griežlės street, a Volvo V40 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
