On Sunday, 9 November 2014, at night at 2:36, in Vilnius, on Šiaurės street, at the junction with Palydovo street, a Mazda MX-6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
