On Friday, 14 November 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilnius, on Justiniškių street, at the junction with Rygos street, a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. The driver was sober.
