On Tuesday, 18 November 2014, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street, at the junction with H. ir O. Minkovskių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai Sonata and an Opel Vectra. One person was injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Hyundai (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
