On Friday, 21 November 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Studentų street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xsara Picasso and a Mercedes-Benz ML350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Citroen (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
