On Monday, 1 December 2014, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 84, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V40 and an Opel Vectra-B. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to give way when changing direction. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
