On Sunday, 7 December 2014, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on K. Donelaičio street, at the junction with Maironio street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (2 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
