On Wednesday, 12 February 2020, in the evening at 17:38, in Kaunas, on K. Donelaičio street near No. 68, at the junction with Maironio street, a Hummer H2 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 19-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 20-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Hummer (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
