On Monday, 8 December 2014, in the evening at around 22:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on A. Mickevičiaus street, at the junction with J. Sniadeckio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi A6, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
