On Friday, 19 December 2014, in the evening at 17:15, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street, at the junction with R. Kalantos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Mitsubishi Carisma. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
