On Wednesday, 14 January 2015, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Kaunas, on P.Kalpoko street near No. 40, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 316 and a Mercedes-Benz ML 350 4MATIC. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
