On Thursday, 5 February 2015, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Plungės district municipality, on Rietavo street near No. 63, at the junction with Laisvės street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
