On Friday, 6 February 2015, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street near No. 172, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
