On Tuesday, 17 April 2018, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street near No. 172, a Mercedes-Benz 916 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
