On Wednesday, 11 February 2015, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Marijampolės municipality, on Kauno street, at the junction with P. Cvirkos street, a Hyundai i 30 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
