On Wednesday, 11 February 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on Lakštingalų al., at the junction with Alšėnų street, a Mercedes-Benz C 200 CDI hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (9 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
