On Friday, 13 February 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 14.20), a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 12-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 12-year-old pedestrian, who committed other traffic rule violations.
