On Saturday, 21 February 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Studentų street near No. 29/3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Nissan Note. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
