On Friday, 6 March 2015, in the morning at 10:29, in Vilnius, on Kęstučio street near No. 41A, a Subaru Forester hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person died — a 34-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). One person was injured — a 6-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Subaru (25 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
