On Friday, 6 March 2015, in the evening at 17:44, in Vilnius, on Švitrigailos street, at the junction with Panerių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz V230 and a Mercedes-Benz C250. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz V230 (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
