On Saturday, 7 March 2015, in the evening at 18:15, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Ažulomio village, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 41.47), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai i 30 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Hyundai (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
