On Monday, 16 March 2015, in the morning at 8:30, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with Č. Sasnausko street, a Renault Megane hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 20-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Renault (9 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
