On Wednesday, 21 December 2022, in the morning at 5:30, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with K. Petrausko street, a Renault Master hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 54-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Renault (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
