On Monday, 30 March 2015, in the evening at 22:03, in Kelmės district municipality, on the Paraseinys–Alėjai–Lioliai–Kelmė regional road (kilometre 22.46), a Tata Safari rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Tata (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
