On Monday, 6 April 2015, in the evening at 20:15, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 226, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe and a BMW 528i. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW 5ER Reihe (2 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs. He was drunk (1.52‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
