On Saturday, 11 April 2015, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 190, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Yamaha FJ 600. Two people were injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient) and the 49-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
