On Monday, 27 April 2015, in the morning at 8:10, in Kaunas, on Elektrėnų street near No. 7, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Transit Connect and a MAN TGX 18.480 4X2 BLS. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Ford (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
