On Friday, 22 May 2015, in the afternoon at 13:54, in Utenos district municipality, on K. Donelaičio street, at the junction with A. Baranausko street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW X3 3.0D and a moped. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
