On Friday, 22 May 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Zarasų district municipality, on D. Bukonto street near No. 22, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Espace and an Opel Meriva. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
