On Saturday, 23 May 2015, at night at 23:20, in Šilutės district municipality, Švėkšnos town, on Aušros street near No. 22, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Opel Vectra hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.31‰ blood alcohol).
