On Saturday, 24 October 2015, in the evening at 21:30, in Šilutės district municipality, Švėkšnos town, on Aušros street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Rover 620 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed.
