On Friday, 29 May 2015, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Chemijos street, a Renault Megane hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 12-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Renault (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
