On Friday, 25 November 2016, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Taikos pr., an Audi 100 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 79-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 77-year-old driver of the Audi (38 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
