On Monday, 1 June 2015, in the evening at 19:58, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Pilaitė–Čekoniškės–Sudervė regional road, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Peugeot 406. Four people were injured — a 5-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient), a 9-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient), a 32-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient) and a 33-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
