On Thursday, 22 June 2017, in the morning at 9:47, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Pilaitė–Čekoniškės–Sudervė regional road (kilometre 13.70), a Mitsubishi Carisma hit an obstacle. Three people were injured — the 72-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized), a 14-year-old cart driver (hospitalized) and a 61-year-old passenger of a horse-drawn cart (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
