On Monday, 8 June 2015, at night at 1:40, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vėžionys–Dainava–Pabarė–Butrimonys regional road (kilometre 14.20), a Volkswagen Vento ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
