On Saturday, 13 June 2015, in the morning at 7:19, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 8.82), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a GAZ 53 and a Skoda Octavia. Two people were injured — a 48-year-old passenger of the GAZ (treated as an outpatient) and a 21-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the GAZ (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
