On Monday, 15 June 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Kęstučio street, at the junction with Gedimino street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Nissan Qashqai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
