On Monday, 19 September 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Gedimino street, at the junction with Kęstučio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Lexus IS 220 and a BMW 520I. One person was injured — the 30-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Lexus (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
