On Saturday, 20 June 2015, in the evening at 20:54, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Jonava–Liepiai–Pasraučiai national road (kilometre 2.29), a Ford Probe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.76‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
