On Tuesday, 23 June 2015, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kaunas, on Varnių street near No. 23, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. The 22-year-old driver of the Opel had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
