On Monday, 29 June 2015, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kauno district municipality, Domeikavos village, on Vandžiogalos pl., at the junction with Mildos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Honda CB 600. Two people were injured — the 24-year-old driver of the Honda (treated as an outpatient) and a 22-year-old passenger of the Honda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Saab (25 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
