On Monday, 13 July 2015, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors RIO and a Peugeot 407. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
