On Monday, 21 December 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 and a Renault 19. One person was injured — a 61-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Audi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
