On Tuesday, 14 July 2015, at night at 2:34, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Girkalnis–Pramedžiava–Karakurai regional road (kilometre 6.76), a Renault Megane rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
