On Monday, 13 July 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Užnerio street near No. 2, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and a Pegasus. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Pegasus (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Audi (24 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
