On Sunday, 19 July 2015, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 1A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Subaru Legacy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.87‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
