On Friday, 31 July 2015, in the evening at 22:36, in Vilnius, on A. Goštauto street, at the junction with Žygimantų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 420 and a Volkswagen Sharan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Rover (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
