On Friday, 21 August 2015, in the evening at around 22:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street, at the junction with Bernotiškės street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Honda XL650. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. The 52-year-old driver of the Honda had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
