On Saturday, 22 August 2015, at night at 0:15, in Kaunas, on Studentų street near No. 2A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 626 and a Toyota Yaris. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mazda, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
